Policies and Procedures
PLEASE NOTE: The terms below are valid ONLY for those owners who agreed to it. Some owners have their own terms and conditions, in that case your acceptance of the terms will be relative to the terms indicated just under the apartment description.
Same criteria applies for our policies and procedures as you see them on our FAQs; all information contained is valid as long as it isn't noted differently on the description of the apartment you're renting.
Check In / Check Out

Arrival: Please always make sure to inform the apartment's owner or his agent if your flight is delayed or if you're having any troubles with your itinerary. Upon arrival at the airport please always call the keyholder's number you've been provided after the booking process. The key holder will wait for your confirmation phone call to arrange for a final appointment at the rented apartment. Please always insure to call and to be punctual after you set the appointment. Any delay may result on a fee for the wait. |

Check in Time: Check-in normally is free and takes place between 12:00am and ends at 8.30pm. If you want to check in earlier you may have to leave your luggage at the apartment and wait until the cleaning is done. Late check-ins after 8.30pm are generally charged an extra fee by the owners please enquire for details. should you require a check in later than midnight please inquire with us if possible and what would be the charge. |

Balance: Unless you have already paid the full amount before arrival, you will be expected to pay the balance in cash EUR (no travelers checkes) as soon as the keyholder finishes showing you the apartment. It is very important that you have all the money in euro ready for check in since the keyholder is not allowed to let the clients in without a full payment. |

Damage Deposit: Unless otherwise noted in the apartment description, It is required to pay a damage deposit equal to half of the rent. This deposit is to guarantee that you will take responsibility for any damages. If you don't want to pay this amount in cash, only for stays shorter then 4 weeks, credit cards or checks are normally accepted.
For rentals longer than 4 weeks the deposit must be paid in cash EUR or bank wire. It will be refunded no later then 2 weeks after check out by bank wire.
This fee is not included in your rent. |

Key Holder's Duty: The key holder should show you the apartment and explain how everything works. Please feel free to question him/her if you feel he/she is being unclear. Any service charges that have been included do not cover the porterage of baggage, cloak rooms, or exceptional service, such as walks to ATMs, etc.; for which the guest may feel that a separate gratuity should be made directly to the person performing the service. |

Check-Out: Check-out time is 10:00am or earlier. If you need to check-out later please inquire with our office before placing the booking. |
Web Site Fee
Cancellations
If you cancel: All cancellations are subject to a minimum charge of 30% of the total. Should the property be re-rented the advance can be used for another rental through www.parisreference.com in a different period or refunded to the client, transaction costs and handling fees would be on beneficiary's charge. • Travel And Go (British website)

If we cancel: While we will do everything possible to accommodate our clients' requests, we are not responsible for situations which might affect apartment rentals or delays in arrival, such as strikes, failure of previous guests to vacate or other causes or conditions beyond our control. In case of cancellation you will be refunded the full amount paid in advance or offered an apartment of the same or higher value at no extra fees.
Inclusions
Unless otherwise noted at the time of booking, apartments listed in this website include linens (sheets and towels) and cooking facilities (including cooking and dining utensils). Each apartment description lists which amenities are present in the apartment at the moment of booking. Check for precise inclusions when placing your booking.
Additional Charges
UTILITIES: For rentals shorter then 4 weeks Gas and Electricity are included up to a use equivalent to 50 euro. For rentals longer then 4 weeks utilities are not included in the rental fee. Meters can be checked in the apartment or in the building: electricity 35c., gas 90c. per unit. Please inquire with the key holder upon check-in for further details. Should there be a phone line, incoming calls are included, outgoing calls are not included unless you use your own calling card. Phone line will normally allow only direct local calls, therefore bringing your own phone or calling card is suggested. Internet connection is normally not included, please inquire with www.parisreference.com for details.
BANK CHARGES for wires, checks or other forms of advance payments are not included in the rental price.

The English version of this website is only an excerpt from the Italian text all legal issues should be treated using the Italian text/version on this website.
This website acts only as such, our duty is to match owners' availability calendars with clients' booking requests, once the booking is completed the two parties conducting business are owners and renters. We do not provide concierge services.
Property management detailed on www.parisreference.com are operated by the owners directly and independently of the vacation rental website.
We will not be held responsible for:
a) Negligence or omission or misbeahaviour in the services by third parties, ie owners of the properties, tenants, drivers, etc..
b) In the case of an 'act of God', ie weather or any other unpredictable event.
c) Theft from the apartments. Rate Information
Apartment rates are always quoted in EURO (all other currencies at the current rate of exchange) and payments, unless otherwise stated during the booking process, are only accepted in EURO.
Choice of Law
All services and rights of use concerning this website are sold in Italy and you irrevocably agree that any cause of action you may submit in connection with your use of this website or pursuant to these terms will be filed in Rome, Italy which will be the venue of any legal dispute. You also agree that any dispute will be governed by Italian laws.
